Who we are
We are a group of people that are concerned about our current reality, aware of the rapid changes and imbalances being caused by human activity, which is endangering the global equilibrium and even our own survival.
Given the ecological and social challenges we are faced with, we decided to be part of the solution and the problem. We are focussed on a new environmental dimension where one prioritizes respect for life, living in harmony, peace and balance – all together in our one and unique home, Earth. We want to develop a lifestyle that respects and sustains the planet´s biodiversity.
We work within an organisation that is non-profit, politically independent and pluralist, where everyone can participate in different ways, whether an individual, a company or a local authority.
Committed to respecting and caring for the environment, the Arboretum Foundation implements local projects that act for the wellbeing of the planet, its inhabitants and, in so doing, offers everyone the opportunity to become instruments of positive change to benefit this cause. From the foundation, we develop projects focusing on three main areas: awareness, education and action on the ground at the local level.
Arboretum Foundation refrains from any form of moralizing, finger pointing or brainwashing. Our messages are completely neutral and are based on actions and events that make up a possible new reality. Furthermore, our positive messages stimulate creating solutions and being an active part of the change we wish to see, giving each individual freedom and respect to reach their own opinion and then to act in an informed way.
Our mission is to be actively involved in creating spaces, projects, activities, opportunities and information that allow people, independently and freely, to generate a positive attitude of change towards a new ecological paradigm that involves peace, harmony and the co-existence of all living things.
Our vision is to raise awareness so that people develop an attitude to life and the environment that is ecologically responsible.
This idea was born in 2010 and constitutes the Arboretum Foundation, registration number MA-1418 of the Foundations Register of the government of Andalusia, (Spain).
